Mihaela Marcu, 39 ani, Braila: M-am inscris la cursuri pentru scoala de soferi, dar, in urma unui consult oftalmologic, mi s-a depistat o tulburare de vedere, caracterizata prin incapacitatea deosebirii rosului de verde (Daltonism). In viata de zi cu zi nu am astfel de probleme, iar in timpul orelor de conducere deosebeam cu precizie culorile rosu-verde la semafor. Medicii mi-au sugerat sa intrerup cursurile de conducere auto, deoarece din cauza afectiunii nu voi putea fi sofer. De ce in timpul orelor de conducere nu am avut probleme? Daca se confirma ca am Daltonism, voi mai putea fi sofer?
„In Comunitatea Europeana, Canada sau SUA, persoanele cu tulburari de perceptie a culorilor (discromatii) pot obtine carnet de sofer amator. In Romania, conform Ordinului ministrului sanatatii nr. 87/2003, acest lucru nu este posibil. Va recomand folosirea lentilei ChromaGen, un filtru colorat care se gaseste sub forma de lentila aeriana sau de contact si are ca scop imbunatatirea perceptiei culorilor. Cu aceasta lentila, si scorul la testele de simt cromatic va fi mai bun. Faptul ca nu ati avut probleme la condus s-a datorat cunoasterii pozitiei luminii aprinse a semaforului, chiar daca ati perceput alta culoare sau alta nuanta”.
Important e ca exista plantata deja "samanta" gasirii unei solutii, si doctorii incearca sa recomande metode de ocolire a problemei.
